Platform rules

Terms of Service

Clear rules designed to protect creators, readers, and the platform without promises the service cannot keep.

Effective:

1. Agreement and eligibility

By creating an account or using o-o.NAME, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. The service is intended for adults and for authorized use on behalf of a child; children may not create accounts on their own.

2. The service

o-o.NAME helps people create, edit, illustrate, narrate, preview, export, and share books through KnowME and Kids. Features may use artificial intelligence and third-party providers. Availability and output quality can vary.

3. Accounts and security

  • Provide accurate account information and keep access methods secure.
  • Do not share passwords, one-time codes, access links, or device approvals.
  • Report suspected unauthorized access promptly.

4. Your content and permissions

You retain your rights in content you submit. You grant o-o.NAME a limited licence to host, process, adapt, and transmit that content only as needed to provide, secure, and improve the requested service.

  • Submit only content you created or are authorized to use.
  • Obtain permission before using another person's private information, image, voice, or protected work.
  • Review generated and edited material before publishing or sharing it.

5. AI and editorial assistance

AI and review tools may provide writing, layout, narration, or similarity signals. They do not certify authorship, guarantee originality, search every public or licensed work, or provide legal advice. You remain responsible for rights clearance, attribution, licences, accuracy, and publication decisions.

6. Acceptable use

  • Do not create or share unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive, or privacy-violating material.
  • Do not impersonate others, misuse a person's voice or likeness, bypass safeguards, or access another user's data.
  • Do not reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, or interfere with the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.

7. Copyright reports

We may restrict access to specific material while reviewing a credible rights complaint. Depending on the evidence, applicable law, and severity or repetition, we may restore, remove, or disable material and may warn, suspend, or terminate an account. These steps are not automatic and do not determine ownership. See the Copyright Policy for the reporting process.

8. Credits, paid actions, and refunds

The interface shows the credit cost before a paid generation action. Credits are consumed only after confirmation of that action. Eligible failed attempts are handled under the product rules shown at the time. Purchases and refunds remain subject to checkout terms and non-waivable rights under applicable law.

9. Sharing and publication

A draft remains private unless you deliberately enable sharing or publish it. You control what you distribute and remain responsible for the rights, required notices, age suitability, and accuracy of a shared or published book.

10. Availability and liability

The service is provided on an as-available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, o-o.NAME is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, third-party outages, or publication decisions made from advisory or AI-generated output. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Changes and termination

We may change the service or these Terms. Material changes will be presented through the service or another reasonable channel where required. We may restrict or terminate access for material violations, security risk, legal obligation, or repeated infringement, using a proportionate review where circumstances allow.
