Copyright and content reporting
A clear reporting, review, and response process that protects rights owners while avoiding automatic removal based on unsupported claims.
Effective:
1. Creator responsibility
o-o.NAME is a creation platform, not a source of publication clearance. Creators must have the rights, permissions, licences, and consents needed for material they upload, generate from protected source material, publish, or share.
2. What review tools can and cannot check
Review tools can flag repetition inside a book, crowded pages, and visible source signals. They do not search every work on the web or in licensed databases, determine fair use, identify every protected passage, or certify that a work is original.
3. How to submit a copyright report
Send a clear written report to the address below. A complete report helps us locate and assess the material promptly.
- Identify the protected work, or provide a representative list when several works are involved.
- Identify the specific o-o.NAME material and provide the exact share URL or other location.
- Provide your name and reliable contact information.
- State that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the rights owner, its agent, or the law.
- State that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act for the relevant rights owner.
- Include a physical or electronic signature.
4. Review and response
We may request missing information, preserve relevant records, and temporarily restrict the specific content when necessary during review. We may notify the affected creator and allow a response or evidence of permission. We then decide whether to restore, restrict, disable, or remove the material based on the available information and applicable law.
5. Accounts and repeated infringement
A single allegation does not automatically delete an account. We may warn, restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts in appropriate circumstances, including serious or repeated infringement, false ownership claims, evasion of restrictions, or failure to cooperate with a lawful review.
6. False or abusive reports
Do not knowingly submit false, misleading, or abusive reports. If ownership or a legal exception is genuinely disputed, consider obtaining advice from a qualified lawyer.
